Well with all the hot weather recently, I was not sure how I would cope performing magic in the heat. After all, for most functions I wear a suit, tie and shirt, but I am sure that would almost be unbearable in the sun!!!
As I had two engagements to attend this last weekend to perform my close up magic, I opted for the safe approach of performing wearing a short sleeved shirt and trousers, without jacket or tie, and I have got to say it was most welcome and added something more of a relaxed, open and organic feel to my performances.
It was a pleasure performing my close up and walkaround magic at Jackie and Marks wedding in Canterbury amongst the beautiful Kent countryside. The guests were very welcoming and gave good reactions to the close up magic they witnessed and a good time was had by all. It is always a great feeling when you have entertained a group of people at a function, to see the delighted looks of amazement, laughter and joy surrounding your performance of magic.
Following the wedding in Canterbury, I made my way to Folkestone to perform more magic for a 50th birthday party at Sene Valley Golf Club. The theme for the evening was the roaring twenties, and I must say the guests certainly all made the effort to dress up for the occasion. Once again, my magic was enthusiastically received and enjoyed by all in attendance with some really great comments made about my magic being given throughout the evening.
I truly had a great day performing my magic for guests at both engagements and hope that if you are considering hiring a magician for your function, that you give me a call on 01303 627628 or alternatively email me by clicking here.
