There is no doubt that lock down has been a trying time for everyone and live entertainment has really taken a blow. I have been fortunate to weather the storm by performing online via Zoom, but there’s no doubt I have looked forward to performing for a live audience more than ever!
I recently performed locally at a 40th birthday celebration, one of two events since lock down relaxed, and I must say that the magic was welcomed with open arms.
Predominantly booked to perform close up magic for the guests assembled, the evening was rounded off with a stand up performance to the whole group (something I had arranged previously with my client). The opportunity to perform a stand up set to the group really brings the evening together and offers an experience the group enjoys as a whole, as well as the intimacy of the close up magic the guests have witnessed throughout the rest of the evening.
